During my time on the Board, I’ve been proud to work with my fellow trustees and our colleges to support significant growth and new opportunities for students. Together, we have expanded educational pathways, strengthened career and workforce programs, grown Continuing Education, and maintained a strong financial foundation. There is more work ahead, and I remain committed to building on this progress.
Student Success & Opportunity
I’ve been proud to support expanding affordable pathways for students to earn degrees, transfer to four-year universities, and prepare for meaningful careers. Santa Ana College now offers three bachelor’s degree programs—Occupational Studies, Paralegal Studies, and Automotive Technology—with additional bachelor’s programs in development.
Education at Every Stage of Life
I believe community college should be an open door for everyone—from high school students and first-time college students to working adults, immigrants, veterans, and those returning to school for a second chance. During my time on the Board, Continuing Education has grown significantly and now serves more than 30,000 students throughout Santa Ana and Garden Grove.
Career Education & Workforce Development
I’ve supported the continued growth of career education, apprenticeships, and programs in high-demand fields such as healthcare, public safety, automotive technology, technology, and the skilled trades—helping connect students to meaningful careers while strengthening Orange County’s workforce.
Responsible Leadership
As a Trustee, I’ve supported balanced budgets, strong reserves, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. I will continue working to protect the district’s financial strength while keeping our resources focused on students, instruction, and long-term success.
